The Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 18, 2026, issued a notification regarding the Operation of Awareness & Registration Camps for Unorganized Sector Workers.
The following has been stated: -
•Addressed to all District Collectors in Madhya Pradesh to organize regular registration and awareness camps at the block, gram panchayat, and urban ward levels for unorganized workers.
•It mandates collaboration among the Labour Department, Rural Development Department, and Urban Development Department alongside local administrative staff.
•Allocates ₹5,000 per gram panchayat for event management and promotes schemes like Sambal, PMSYM, PMJJBY, and PMSBY.
•Focuses on worker rights, prohibiting child and bonded labor, and establishes the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of District Panchayat as the nodal officer to oversee weekly progress.
